You need to get there early on really nice weather days. It can get so bz they sell out. We had to leave and come back for their second show. Knowledgeable staff. Beautiful animals. Would be great if you could purchase tickets ahead of time online would be good.

My daughter and I went here earlier today and it was an amazing experience! The staff were very nice and friendly. During the presentation, I loved how they just let the wolves do what they want and they are not forced to do something they do not want to do. They allow you to take as many photos as you like, but taking videos is not allowed for obvious reasons. Anyways, I recommend everyone to go there, it is truly amazing.

Great place, you can tell that the animals are well loved and the people working and volunteering there are well educated. They seek to educate their visitors too, not just about the wolves themselves, but also about their impact on the environment and how humans are treating them in the United States in the more recent years.

Anyway, space issues aside, I do recommend this place a lot. It's educational for everyone, wonderful to see the wolves, the volunteers work well with the animals, and it's in a beautiful little place in town.

This is a unique and very informative experience. Very cool to see the wolves up close and to ask questions of the staff at the location. Could be a bit better as far as attractions such as this go, but it was enjoyable and worth going to at least once. They do good and valuable work there.

Seriously, making this all clear on the website would have saved me hours of driving. Learn from my experience and don't expect anything from a membership besides a warm fuzzy for supporting a wolf sanctuary.

2) A family membership gets you multiple admissions to the tour. If you are hoping to be able to drop in during a weekend and watch wolves for awhile, see #1. You can only do so if you get there on time, there is room and you'll have a guide talking at you.

This low review is for the the web site, which fails to point out some very important facts about how this facility operates:

1) The only way to see the wolves is by being part of the instructional tour or paying $$$ for a private session. If you miss the start of the tour at 1:30 or it's full, you get turned away. That "opens at 1:00" thing only means you're in line for the tour, not that there is anything BESIDES the tour to do except spend money in the gift shop.

I do have to wonder if maybe the wolves have a larger area that they're kept in and are just brought out to smaller enclosures for people to see during the visiting hours... and I sincerely hope that this is the case. Because otherwise they're simply not getting enough space.

3) Reserve your space, even if you have a membership. If the weather is halfway decent, the tour will be full and you'll get turned away at the door. Calling is useless. Like another reviewer said, these guys don't pick up the phone. So plan and reserve your space well in advance unless you like a scenic drive through Ipswitch.

The only reason I wouldn't give this five stars is that when me and my partner (who is a wolf enthusiast) visited recently, the habitat that the wolves were kept in was quite small, and I'm not sure if that's due to the fact that they were raised around humans and don't need the space or if they just don't have the space to provide them with more room. My partner was upset by this, particularly with the oldest wolf Jelly being kept in such a small enclosure. Perhaps this was intentional so that the volunteers could help her and get to her more easily if she needed it. But when we asked about the enclosure space, the response we received was more along the lines of how much space wolves in the wild need being a lot (which we already knew that) rather than the reason why Wolf Hollow's wolves in particular were kept in such small areas.

Get there early to get good parking, and be sure to check the weather before you leave so that you can dress appropriately.
