Rather bizarre and unexpected and not entirely successful creations when we went. At least they're creative. Take it with a grain of salt though as I expect they had a temporary chef that wasn't up to scratch, given the other positive reviews. Everyone at our table was so appalled we could not stop giggling.
Salt used to be very good, about the best in town. But it's gone through many chef changes in the last year or two, as well as being sold by the guy who opened it. It's just being treated as a profit center these days. Stick with mainstays like beef or fish. Avoid what the menu refers to as nachos. You'd never guess what they are just by looking or eating. Best bet: Sit at the bar and enjoy a couple of excellent rum cocktails with some pork belly tacos.
I love this place! The Best Bloody Marys! Crabbies and Mussels are great. Very nice atmosphere.
Good drinks and apps. Could use a better entree selection. Also sad to see such a hip restaurant with no marketed gluten free options.
